As if competing with the Serpentine Pavilion, the Dulwich Picture Gallery decided to celebrate its 200 years’ anniversary by introducing to the public their very own temporary venue. Discover how the Dulwich Pavilion exposes life into an otherwise quiet part of South London.
Designed by IF_DO, the Dulwich Pavilion celebrates the diversity and changeability of the Sir John Soane’s museum, next to which the structure is located. It houses a bar which regularly welcomes various artists from across London. During Pavilion Lates, you can learn how to make a bouquet, draw like a pro, or simply enjoy the delicate tones of the after dark jazz.
The London Festival of Architecture can now proudly say that its extraordinary venue is in many ways equally as thrilling and entertaining as its older sister, the Serpentine Pavilion.
